Meet Mrs. McFadden

An educator for 10+ years, Maurisha Tucker-McFadden has always had a love of learning and sharing with others. She earned her Bachelors from Stetson University in International Studies with minors in Spanish and Humanities and her Master’s from Florida State University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. She has taught in public, charter, private, and home-school settings to students from grades Kindergarten to University. Teaching subjects from English Language Arts, Social Studies, Spanish, ESOL, and Algebra, Maurisha loves to help students deepen their understanding of the world around them.

Mrs. McFadden’s Class was born from a love of teaching and a personal need to provide a deep and well-rounded education for her daughters. She believes that her girls were made for more, your learners are made for more, and collectively, the world can be more.

Maurisha enjoys watching K-dramas, learning new things, and eating Asian food. Let’s learn together.
